Anderson & Low
Artists Jonathan Anderson and Edwin Low have been collaborating as the photography duo Anderson & Low since 1990. The duo has built up a versatile portfolio of photo art with portraiture, architectural studies, abstract images, reportages, nudes, landscapes, and more. Recurring themes in Anderson & Low’s photography are those of identity and appearance, not seldom presented through filters of fantasy and perceived reality, making the beholder question what a photograph is “supposed to do”.
Anderson & Low have also worked with several blockbuster movies, like Star Wars: The Force Awakens and the James Bond movie Spectre. Their captures include headlining hero shots for film posters and merchandise, to exclusive behind-the-scenes photography.
Their work is exhibited worldwide in public and private collections like The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, Victoria & Albert Museum, London, National Portrait Galleries of both the UK and Australia, Akron Museum, The National Gallery of Australia, the US Olympic Center, and Museet Fotokunst, Denmark, to name a few.
