From crimson-coloured manicures and scarlet lids, to matte rouge lips – Touch of Red was an editorial pitch in which Rankin would capture five different ways to wear red makeup. A lover of story, narrative, and humour, A Touch of Red took on a new life on set, bringing in those surrealist elements which give Rankin's beauty photography life.
