Fabienne Rivory

Since 2007, french artist Fabienne Rivory has mixed photography and painting in several themed series. Rivory collects photographs of minimalist landscapes that she has taken throughout the years, be it of deserted nature, shores, or skylines, that leaves room for her to add small splatters of abstraction. Her craftsmanship of mixing photography with watercolour paint instantly reels you in, and the nature, landscapes and silhouettes work as a foundation for the different colours of gouache or ink.
