Frédéric Chaubin
Just as Cambodian-born Frédéric Chaubin started finishing his roughly two decade long position as editor in chief of French lifestyle magazine CitizenK International (between 1994 and 2013), a praised and successful career in architecture photography commenced. Chaubin prefers to shoot analogue pictures of dramatic, historical, and impressive buildings in a rich architectural detail.
His series Stone Age, depicting mediaeval castles, and CCCP. Cosmic Communist Constructions Photographed have both gained worldwide acclaim and have been published as books by Taschen. The latter was awarded First Prize at the Perpignan FILAF contest in 2011.
