"This plaza is where I started making skateboard videos of the Lyon local scene. I’m talking about the year of 1993. I have spent loads of time there over more than two decades. But I shot this picture in 2014, from a whole new angle. Now, some 8 years later, there are still new pictures to shoot from unseen angles. It is very interesting that you can keep on re-discovering a location over and over again, while you thought you knew every single bit about it. The place remains the same, but we change, we progress. Our way of looking at things evolves, and so is our culture and sensitivity. Then suddenly out of the blue, that place you had no more expectations from, becomes interesting again." - Fred Mortagne
