Nature as a Backdrop, a Statement, or a Condition
23 PHOTOGRAPHERS Untitled Nature 27/6–24/8
The summer's grand exhibition, Untitled Nature, at Picture This Gallery showcases the work of 23 of Sweden's foremost photographers. Each artist explores their unique relationship with nature, far beyond traditional nature photography. This exhibition is not about nature as a motif, but rather as a projection, a stance, or a state of being. Some photographers draw from their personal nature, while others work against it.

Through Tinted Glasses
BRYAN ADAMS In Colour
A Self-taught photographer, Adams began his photography career by documenting his own work on tour before he became a professional photographer in the late 1990s. Adams has photographed many fellow creatives and people of our time including today's most revered and loved musicians, actors and models, sportsmen and political figures.
The works are mounted behind multi-coloured glass presenting the photographs in dream like suspensions behind coloured lenses. This adds a sense of the celebrity appearing to be viewed as if behind a screen, at a distance from the viewer, but somehow also themselves trapped.
